Accounting Officer professional responsibilities
Function as Accounting officer for Close Corporation will be to:
Determine whether the annual financial statements agree with the books of account. Review the appropriateness of the accounting policies represented to us as having applied in the presentation of the financial statements. Report to the corporation in respect of the above-mentioned matters. We are also required to report if during the performance of our duties as accounting officers become aware of the following
- a provision of the close corporation act has been contravened
- a change to the particulars in the founding statement has not been registered
- the financial statement incorrectly indicate that assets exceed liabilities
